I take photos the way I write: quietly, by instinct, catching the moments that feel true before I have to name them. Places I have lived, places I have passed through, the small scenes that stay with me. Observation is my edge. It is what gives the work its cinematic lens.

Portraiture isn’t always a face. Sometimes it’s the shape of someone’s distance. Portraiture, when done right, gives us the honesty of what a being’s essence carries. It reveals the many sides, the shifting angles, the geometry of identity.
